Cycling is a pleasure
The design of the Orbea Diem is entirely focused on cycling fun. The Orbea Diem is equipped with Diamond Glide, a patented design that makes the frame bend vertically. This absorbs vibrations from uneven surfaces, and in combination with the carbon front fork and wider tyres rough surfaces and bumpy passages. By further reducing and centring the weight, Orbea creates a bike that is incredibly responsive and stable is, with all the control in cornering.
Intelligent lighting system
The Orbea Diem has an advanced integrated lighting system that switches on automatically for your safety and visibility on the road. The optional dual headlight Supernova Starstream Dual Beam offers extra flexibility with low and high beams. The side lights ensure that you are visible both during the day and at night, even from the side. The reactive tail lights light up brighter when braking. The headlight, tail lights and integrated side lights meet the strictest standards.
Well equipped
Orbea cleverly opts for Shimano's EP motors in conjunction with its own 540 Wh or 630 Wh batteries - optionally expandable with a 252 Wh Range Extender. By designing its own batteries and using the latest cell technology, the Orbea Diem offers more power in a smaller, lighter package.
Orbea provides three options in terms of drive train. The Enviolo is a maintenance-free, automatic transmission with belt drive. Shimano Inter 5 offers an alternative with hub gears, and also low-maintenance and quiet Gates CDX belt drive. Finally, you have Shimano Cues, a traditional chain drive with 9 gears.
